Amorim eying to the FIA GT Championship
Ni Amorim is know in Portugal, preparing himself for the FIA GT
Championship with great confidence and a victory feeling. In fact,
after the Sebring 12hr., where he have some troubles with the
Freisinger’s Porsche 911 GT3-RS, turning the end of run for the nº 57
car with the rear end in fire – at the time with Amorim’s team mate
Romain Dumas behind the wheel – early in the race, Amorim is eying now
that championship, whose first race was held at April 20/21, in
Magny-Cours:
“That’s a fact.” – explains Amorim. “We are able to contest the
official tests precisely at Magny-Cours, in the next week. I believe
in my possibilities to fight for the N-GT title, and all the
Freisinger team too, together with Porsche and Dunlop. The car is very
well and, really, we are very optimist.”
Ni
Amorim must drive the same Freisinger’s Porsche 911 GT3-RS, but now
with another Frenchman as team mate, Stéphane Ortelli.
