Ni Amorim/Manuel Gião Spain GT Runner Up

Ni Amorim and Manuel Gião ended the Spain GT season in the Runner Up position after the 10th place they achieved during the last race in Barcelona. Even if they were fighting for the title just until the end of the season, the truth is that the level of performance of the other cars was superior. But the drivers were glad with the final result.

They arrived in Barcelona with eight points of advantage, but they knew it that things will be difficult: “especially because we knew that our car has less performance that the car of our main rival. For us to become winners, we will need our adversary to have problems during the race. But it doesn’t happen”, said Ni Amorim.

The Runner Up position was the possible result: “And I think it was a great result. This championship was very competitive. But the balance of the year was positive and we are satisfied with our performance”, he continued.

“We have to be happy with the things that we have done during the year. It was a tough year. We did the best we could to arrive at the last race in a good position. So, the second place is a great result”, concluded Ni Amorim.
